A wonderful place but a lonely tree needs someone to take care of so that it will be the most fruitful ever; Like a lonely person living in a wonderful place who needs someone to take his/her hands to get the best out of him/her. I hope to live in a place like this but with my family. I can imagine my mum doing her needle work and I am playing with my husband and my little two kids, Youssef and little Aisha, hide and seek. Just a dream. Will it come true?! Who knows……

  2. santakarim Said:

hide and seek, i’ve no idea how ppl can hide in such a place !!

this is the diffrent between our dreams 🙂 i start dreaming like you, but then i wake up suddenly, can’t go on with the dream…

ability to dream, it’s a great gift, sometimes, i wish i can have it, but …

  4. santakarim Said:

ok, guys, i think i need to shut up and listen to your dreaming souls 🙂
u know what, believe me, i’m trying to shut my eyes and dream too, who knows, may be i can do it, someday…

  5. Yousra Said:

First Many thanks to Mr. Gasser 4 his nice comment and am happy that albashmohandis karim is having the initative to dream which is a good start. As for the hide and seek, it will take place after the fruitfull tree is there and after all the seeds that Youssef and Aisha has put in the land and grew to be a whole lovely garden where we can hide behind its trees. In addition, I forgot saying that I wish making a race with my kids wearing my jeans and snickers, which i miss toooooo much. Dreaming, Dreaming, …..I wish I can stop dreaming, my friends call me MISSION IMPOSSIBLE because of my stronge belief in my dreams which I try hardly to achieve ,believe me or not, many came true. So, Mr. Gasser u may call me Mission Impossible if u need a name:)

  6. santakarim Said:

    ya slam, la2fony le ba3d b2a !!!
anyway, somehow you always surprise me with a kind of possibility for your dreams, someday i heard that dreams come true only if you believed that it’ll come true, that’s why i hope ur dreams will come true, but mine, who knows when i’ll be able to believe that it can come true?!!
may be ya Gasser if we could just erase “some years” and “a lot of faces” 🙂

  7. Gazzer Said:

some years & lots of faces!! uhh, even when u try to dream u choose the long way!! same do I tab3an ya bashmohandes..
    b3dein
start believing that u can dream,
give ur mind the freedom to wander through dreams, even if it goes through those some faces n years, at the end of the day it’s a dream, u can rebuild those years, n make up those faces in ur dreams..
finally, go to the beleiving step.. (of course not before starting ur dream)..
mateegy ne7awel ya 3am, yemken net2aked en el moshkela 3andena mosh 3and el tanyeen, b3dein, those years n faces can hardly be forgetable wenta 3aref keda, hanefdal ne3ayat gambohom ba2a wala eh..

about years and faces, i know we can’t forget, and i know it’s our problem, everyday i strugle to concentrate in a dream, i go to cinemas so it can take me away in a dream, and even those little tiny dreams, it’s what makes life … “livable”
i’ll keep on trying, may be someday, one of my tiny short dreams will last for more than the few seconds, may be one dream will take to where i can never wake up 🙂
    may be…

aho howa dah alkalam almazbout ya 2ostaz Gasser, saley 3ala alnaby keda ya bashmonhadis we 2a7lam we isa dreams will come true even if it will take time, even if u need to exert some effort but what will really relief u is that at the end of the day u will feel that u took a step forward to achieve ur dream, just close ur eyes and dream of something concentrate on it start putting the plan into action and then u will start seeing ur dream in real facts. I dreamt 10 years ago of being a professor at the university, I graduated being an A student, started masters and one day I believe I will be a professor in international marketing, and will remind of this blog on my first day of lectures. I can see my dream coming true rightnow although 10 years before it was just a DREAM. And what is really important is my mum’s support she was always there for me. I can write pages about dreams that came true even if ppl see them that tiny but 4 me they r considered achievements.

SO, ya bashmohandis DREAM + ENTHUSUIASM + SUPPORT= ACHIEVEMENT

  10. santakarim Said:

ok, congratulation for your dream which will be true someday isa…
but you dream of possible dreams, this is a talent too, and i don’t have this talent…
trying is an issue, believing is another…
trying is what i was doing in every single day of my life, but believing ….
i was also surprised that you could talk about yourself and your dreams this way, this is another talent i don’t have…
who said that we r living in the same universe anyway !!

  11. Yousra Said:

Always have in mind Ghandi’s wording ” YOU ARE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD”

And the impossible dream will be a possible one.

    signature: Mission Impossible:)

  12. santakarim Said:

    allah yar7m Ghandi…
Dreams can be true within a limit, there are no absolute in the world, that’s what i believe, i wanted to be an engineer it was a dream that came true (it wasn’t as good as i thought by the way), cuz it was possible, and i had many other dreams but never came true, cuz it’s not possible…
dreams are limited too, don’t listen to the teeny songs or the TV commercials:-)

  13. Yousra Said:

mosh mota2akida awi that dreams have limits, ya3ni maslan the first one who dreamt of travelling to the moon everyone thought it was crazy although it came true, ento bas handasa 3alemetko en 1+1=2 we 2a7na 3almouna en 1+1=3,thinking creativly…

    Different ppl, different minds, …

Regarding TV commercials konet zaman fe3lan bashofha we ba3’anee lrabso we signal 2 kanet 2ayam !!feen dewla2ti alwa7d mosh la72 yenam 2aslan

  14. santakarim Said:

being unable to watch ur personal dreams come true, is like they never came true…
    i prefer simple dreams…

but if you have dreams from the type that Amr Khaled talks about, you better think about the man who dreamed of flying and going to the moon and all these stuff…

i think all kids were singing TV commercials, of course it was a nice period in our lives, i think it could be a possiable dream to do it again…
not in cultnat of course 🙂

i like the extremecy in your photo, a barren tree in a green field. A lonely tree even though its in the middle of beauty…dont you sometimes feel this way….
you can be between your loved ones and yet feel lonely…very scary!

by the way, i disagree with you regarding you not knowing how to dream. I think that you translate your dreams into your art. And what a great way to be able to do that. A blessing. Eventhough most of your designs lean towards pessimism, but it shows maturity and a deep personality.
I would say…keep up the good work…keep on dreaming!

  19. santakarim Said:

i just sometimes feel that i dream with too many borders, but dreams and borders can’t go together …

may be if one dream (that once looked impossible) went real, may be then 🙂

my art is my dreams .. i like this 🙂
but i think my art is mostly my feelings, and my feelings r (as u said) pessimistic, pain, regrets, worries, confusion …

may be someday, i may express my dreams too ..

  20. Explorer Said:

There is no beauty without pain. There is no art without suffering. If you looked back at all the great men and women who excelled in their field, art, music and science (van gokh, beethoven, eineshtein)and so many others in our beloved country, you will find that they suffered in their life, and from this suffering and pain came art, beauty and inventions.
May God be with us all.

  21. santakarim Said:

u know , this is true, this whole thing started out from deepest depressions…

    that’s why i say, i hope that someday, i can create a dream…

  22. dina Said:

i liked yossra’s words very much.
our dreams are what it keeps us alive and are the hope which wakes us up the next day. it doesnt really matter if it soooo long to come true, what really matter is that some day it will come true, and u know: kol matet2a7’ar , kol makan ta3maha a7la and we will hold on to it with all our strength.
thank u ya yossra , i’m inspired by ur words
